ESCAT 124 Is tetrabutyl ammonium bromide absorbed onto a porous carrier, resulting in a highly reactive catalyst. Powder coatings that can be catalyzed with Escat 124 include polyester-epoxy, carboxyl acrylic-epoxy, polyesters cured by GMA-functional acrylics and polyester-TGIC systems. Each application should be tested to determine the optimum catalyst level to achieve the desired cure time and coating properties.

ESCAT A-130 is a liquid catalyst consisting of Dimethyl Amino Methyl Phenol (DMP-30; 2,4,6-Tris (dimethylaminomethyl) phenol; CAS# 90-72-2) absorbed onto a silica carrier. It is designed to aid dispersion into epoxy coatings and is an effective curing accelerator for epoxy or hybrid systems utilizing a polyamide or anhydride hardener. Escat A-130 is compliant with FDA 175.300. The recommended usage level is from 0.1 to 0.5% of the total formulation. Each application should be tested to determine the optimum catalyst level to achieve the desired cure time and coating properties.

ESCAT A-140 is a liquid catalyst consisting of Dimethyl Stearyl Amine (DMSA; N,N-Dimethyl-1-Octadecylamine; CAS#124-28-7) absorbed onto a silica carrier. It lowers the cure temperature of polyester epoxy hybrid formulations while maintaining high flow and gel times. It can also serve as a de-blocking accelerator in urethane durable coating systems. The recommended usage level is from 0.1 to 0.5% of the total formulation. Each application should be tested to determine the optimum catalyst level to achieve the desired cure time and coating properties.

RESIFLOW P-71 is based on a low viscosity, liquid acrylic polymer that has been converted into a free-flowing powder by adsorption onto silica-type filler. The product has superior flow and leveling characteristics with excellent clarity essential for clear powder coatings. Surface defects such as orange peel, craters, pinholes, and other imperfections can be reduced or eliminated by incorporating 0.7-1.5% of Resiflow P-71 into powder coating formulations. It is especially recommended for use in GMA and TGIC clears.

RESIFLOW PL-440 is a high-performance flow control agent designed to hide the effects of cross-contamination while providing superior flow and leveling characteristics. Improved compatibility can lower manufacturing costs by reducing both rework and clean-up during product changeovers. Resiflow PL-440 also demonstrates excellent recoat and adhesion properties.
